Mzansiway NPC is a registered South African Non-Profit Company operating a shop-to-own housing access platform. Members earn Purchase Value (PV) points through everyday spending on airtime, data, electricity, and groceries, which go toward property allocation and title deed ownership.

2. Information We Collect

When you register and use the Mzansiway app, we may collect:

Full name and South African ID number
Mobile phone number and email address
Transaction history (airtime, data, electricity, grocery purchases)
Purchase Value (PV) and Title Deed Point (TDP) balances
Device information and app usage data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information solely to:

Register and manage your Mzansiway membership account
Process purchases and calculate PV and TDP earnings
Administer the housing allocation queue
Send important account notifications and updates
Comply with South African legal and regulatory requirements

4. Data Sharing

We only share your data with:

Blue Label Telecoms — to process airtime, data, and electricity purchases
Shoprite Group — to process grocery voucher transactions
Nedbank — our merchant banking partner for payment processing
PayGate — our payment gateway provider
South African regulatory authorities where legally required

All third-party partners are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable South African law.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorised access. Our backend systems are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure and all payment processing is handled through PCI-compliant payment gateways.

6. Your Rights (POPIA)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and associated data
